This picture was published in Aircraft Illustrated February 1988. Yep...that's my handsome Cowboy standing on that plane. Gunsmoke was held at Nellis AFB, Nevada. It was an US Air Force-wide bi-annual competition.

Awesome! The wives got to go up in the Fuel Tanker on one occasion to watch their husband's planes being refueled. We were so close I could see his face!
